Stocks to Buy: 6 Stocks that can deliver returns of up to 35% - Trade Brains

The Indian Benchmark Indices closed in the green on Friday with the Sensex gaining around 496 points and closing at 71,683.23 and the Nifty 50 index gaining around 160 points and closing at 21,622.40. 

In the last five trading sessions, the Sensex has, contrary to today’s movement, dipped approximately 1.78 percent while the Nifty 50 index saw a dip of approximately 2 percent. 

Listed below are six stocks that one should add to their portfolio for a potential upside of up to 36 percent: 

Newgen Software Technologies Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 11,604.89 crores, the stocks of Newgen Software Technologies Limited, engaged in the business of software product development, closed at Rs 828.10 on Friday, slipping around 0.75 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 834.35 apiece. 

IDBI Capital gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 1,042 indicating a gain of 26 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels. 

Federal Bank Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 35,664.09 crores, the stocks of Federal Bank Limited, a private-sector Bank providing retail & corporate banking, para-banking activities, etc, closed at Rs 146.60 on Friday, slipping around 0.20 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 146.90 apiece. 

HDFC Securities gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 190 indicating a gain of 29 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels. 

Ethos Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 5,743.23 crores, the stocks of Ethos Limited, India’s largest luxury and premium watch retail player, closed at Rs 2,346.05 on Friday, gaining around 0.40 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 2,337.05 apiece. 

Axis Direct gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 3,050 indicating a gain of 30 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels. 

Coal India Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 2.36 lakh crores, the stocks of Coal India Limited, mainly engaged in the production & mining of Coal and operating Coal washeries, closed at Rs 383.70 on Friday, gaining around 2 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 375.90 apiece.

ICICI Direct gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 500 indicating a gain of 30.50 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels. 

Prince Pipes & Fittings Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 7,690.08 crores, the stocks of Prince Pipes & Fittings Limited, an integrated manufacturer of piping solution & multi-polymer, closed at Rs 695.55 on Friday, slipping around 0.55 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 699.35 apiece. 

IDBI Capital gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 913 indicating a gain of 31 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels. 

HDFC Bank Limited 

With a market capitalization of Rs 11.17 lakh crores, the stocks of HDFC Bank Limited, the largest private-sector Bank in India providing a range of banking and financial services, closed at Rs 1,470.70 on Friday, slipping around 1.10 percent as compared to the previous closing levels of Rs 1,486.80 apiece. 

Prabhudas Lilladher gave a ‘Buy’ recommendation on the company’s stock with a target price of Rs 2,000 indicating a gain of 36 percent as compared to the prevailing stock price levels.
