2024 Hyundai Creta facelift launched at Rs 11 lakh: Engine, features, variant-wise prices and more - IndiaTimes

Hyundai Motor India today announced the launch of the much anticipated 2024 Hyundai Creta in the Indian market. The price for the new Creta starts from Rs 11 lakh and goes up to 17.24 lakh (both prices ex-showroom) and the SUV is offered in seven variants, namely, E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The bookings for the SUV are already underway, interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership and the booking amount is set at Rs 25,000.

Talking about the design, the new Creta features a completely re-designed front and rear profile but the overall silhouette remains the same. At the front, it gets a full-width DRL with an inverted L-shaped signature. It has a large gloss-black front grille with split LED headlamps, a new bumper, and a silver faux skid plate.

At sides, no changes have been made except newly designed 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Moving rear, it now features a connecting LED taillights setup similar to the front with a re-designed bumper. Other highlights in the rear include a faux skid plate, shark-fin antenna, rear wiper with a washer, and a high-mounted stop lamp.
Talking about the colour options, the Creta facelift is offered in seven exterior paint options - a Robust Emerald Pearl (new), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Atlas White with black roof.
Moving inside, the new Creta features a completely re-designed interior layout and and centre console layout. The highlight of the cabin is the twin 10-25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and for the infotainment system. Other features include dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, steering mounted controls, multi-colour ambient lighting, Bose sound system, powered driver’s seat, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, blue link connected car tech, voice commands, OTA updates, air purifier, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and much more.
In terms of safety, the SUV gets six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, traction control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The SUV now also gets Level-2 ADAS features such as Forward Collision Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (car, pedestrian, cyclist, junction turning), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist and Lane Following Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Safe Exit Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist.
The new Creta is offered in three engine options - 115 PS, 144 Nm 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, 116 PS, 250 Nm 1.5-litre turbo diesel and the new 160 PS, 253 Nm turbo petrol engine. Gearbox options include a 6-speed MT, iMT, CVT(dubbed iVT) 6-speed AT and a 7-speed DCT. The new Creta continues to compete with Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and VW Taigun.
