2022 Kia Seltos & Sonet launched in India - Team-BHP

Kia is now offering 4 airbags as standard across all variants of the Seltos and Sonet.

Kia has announced the launch of the 2022 Seltos and Sonet with prices starting at Rs. 10.19 lakh and Rs. 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Kia is now offering 4 airbags as standard across all variants of the Seltos and Sonet. The other major change is the introduction of a Diesel iMT variant to the Seltos line-up.

2022 Kia Seltos

According to Kia, the updated Seltos comes with 13 different changes. All automatic variants now come with paddle shifters with multi-drive and traction modes. Kia has also introduced a flat-bottom steering wheel, SUS scuff plate and tailgate, while the X Line gets a new logo and Indigo Pera seats.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine is now available with an iMT in HTK+ trim. Also, the 1.5L Diesel 6AT is now offered in the HTX variant as well.

The Seltos is equipped with a host of safety features including ESC, Vehicle Stability Management, Brake Assist, Hill Assist Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and disc brakes all around. The HTX+ variant gets additional curtain airbags.

2022 Seltos prices now range between Rs. 10.19 lakh to Rs. 18.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

2022 Kia Sonet

The Sonet gets 9 new updates which include side airbags and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) which will be standard across all variants. The crossover also gets ESC, VSM, Brake Assist and Hill Assist Control as standard on the iMT variants. Curtain airbags will now be available from the HTX+ variant onwards.

The Sonet now comes with a 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster from the HTX variant onwards, while semi-leatherette seats will be offered from the HTE variant. Other changes to the model include a flat-bottom steering wheel and a new Sonet logo.

2022 Sonet prices now range between Rs. 7.15 lakh to Rs. 13.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
