MARKETS: Sensex off days low, still down 150 points; VIX eases 2% - Business Standard

LIVE market update: The domestic benchmark indices witnessed selling pressure on Wednesday amid losses in index heavyweights, namely RIL, Infosys, TCS and HDFC. Following this, the BSE Sensex was down 116 points at 58,175 while traded at 17,300 levels, down 31 points.

Financials, banks and metals were among the only sectors in the green on NSE. Nifty IT, Media and Auto declined 0.6 per cent each.

Broader markets, however, continued to rally after a one-day hiatus. BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap were up 0.4 per cent each.
