The Ola S1 and S1 Pro comes with a range of smart connected features that ensure that you do not need to take out your smartphone while riding. There’s a large 7-inch touch display that is powered by an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM along with the company’s MoveOS. The dashboard supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and 4G connectivity.
For starters, the scooters come with proximity sensors that can sense you (and your mobile) is approaching it and turn itself on automatically. You can change the theme of the dashboard and sound as per your liking and also play music, get navigation and operate the entire dash with voice. To turn on voice control, you need to just say Hey Ola. The dashboard also offers widgets and another interesting feature is that you can create separate user profiles for different riders. This is similar to how you can create different accounts on your mobile or laptop.
On your mobile, you can get the battery status of the scooter, order at-home service and control the scooter remotely. You can take calls as well from the dashboard itself and also get directions on the large screen. Other widget features include weather details, battery indicator, wind speed, torque, acceleration and more.
